What’s your hurry? Slow down your eating there’s no rush. Remember when you were younger growing up and you wanted to eat as fast as you could so you could go out and play with your friends again?
Your mother would have to constantly tell you to slow down and at least smell your food as it passes your lips. You might not know this but your body weight can and is affected by how fast or slow you eat your food.
If you chew your food as it should you will see there is a problem with your diet section. You will eat less and feel full all at the same time. This is a bad habit that yes can be changed.
There are some things a person can do to help cure this bad habit of eating to fast. When you eat fast there is a lot of food going down and so the feeling of eating to much will certainly happen.
The first thing is to just take small amounts of food in at a time. No need to have a heaping spoon or fork full every time you eat.
Chewing your food thoroughly is key. Your digstive system wants a break and this is a way to do that. Help the digestive system by chewing your food longer and slower. Well chewed food is digested quicker while still working a top capacity. You will enjoy your food more plus you will feel full.
Take less food in your fork or spoon and don’t eat it until all the food already there is chewed up and ready to spit out. Try putting down you fork after every bite.
